Tipos de anticonceptivos en mujeres gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Sergio Bernales: 2005 / Types of contraceptives in pregnant women admitted to Hospital Sergio Bernales: 2005

RESUMEN

El presente trabajo se realizó en el Hospital Nacional Sergio E. Bernales-Collique, del Ministerio de Salud, ubicado en la Av. Túpac Amaru Km. 14.5, distrito de Comas, provincia de Lima, Perú. El estudio es de tipo prospectivo-transversal. Se realizó mediante un cuestionario que constaba de 12 preguntas tipo cerradas. Fue aplicado a 100 mujeres gestantes. Las variables que se utilizaron fueron sociodemográfica, sociocultural, socioeconómica. El trabajo de investigación duró tres meses. El propósito es conocer, en lo referente a la salud reproductiva en un grupo poblacional determinado, sobre el Método Anticonceptivo (MA) utilizado en este grupo vulnerable para prevenir el embarazo en el futuro. Los resultados: 59% de gestantes usaron el MA, de las cuales el 22% utilizó ampollas. El 34% de gestantes está comprendido entre los 25 y 29 años de edad; el 44% de gestantes piensa utilizar el MA de ampolla y el 8% piensa hacerse la ligadura de trompas. En razón de lo elaborado se tuvo en cuenta el lugar de procedencia. El 28% de gestantes procedían de la sierra y utilizaron un MA con una significación estadística (p menor o igual 0,01).

ABSTRACT

The following research study took place at Hospital Nacional Sergio E. Bernales-Collique, of the Ministry of Health, located in Av. Tupac Amaru, 14.5 kilometers from the district of Comas, province of Lima-Perú. The present study is a perspective of a tranversal type, which was carried out by a survey containing 12 concrete questions applied under social, economic and cultural demographic levels. The duration time of the survey was carried out in a week. The purpose is to know, refering to health, the contraceptive method, using this vulnerable population to prevent pregnancy in the future. The results that we obtain by the survey are of the 59% of pregnant women that used contraceptive methods, 22% used shots, 34% are 25-29 years old; the 44% of pregnant women will use the contraceptive method of taking shots, 8% will have ther tubes tied. Because of the elaborate study we kept in mind the relation to the place of origin, in which 28% of the pregnant women from the sierra region used the contraceptive method and its statistics significance (p or less 0,01).
