Subjetividade e conhecimento: do sujeito da representação ao sujeito dialógico / Subjectivity and knowledge: from representational self to dialogical self

RESUMO

Desde Sócrates, o tema do conhecimento assumiu posição central no debate filosófico, a partir do argumento da racionalidade humana, da ampla capacidade de discernimento e consciência. Tal perspectiva filosófica ultrapassou o debate propriamente filosófico, impregnando as ciências humanas e sociais. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar os fundamentos da filosofia da consciência, demonstrar seu impacto na constituição do objeto da Psicologia e propor uma abordagem alternativa, a da subjetividade dialógica, em que o tema da subjetividade se articula aos da cultura, comunicação e alteridade, tendo por fundamento as idéias de Vygotsky, M. Bakhtin e H. Habermas.

ABSTRACT

Since Sócrates, knowledge has always been a central issue in Philosophy, traditionally considered on the basis of human rationality, judgement and consciousness. But the traditional rationalistic perspective went over the limits of the philosophical debate and - as "philosophy of consciousness" or "philosophy of self" - had great impact on social and human sciences. This paper discusses the foundations of the rationalistic philosophy and the evidences of its impact on the historical constitution of the object of Psychology. Then, an alternative perspective is presented, one that intertwines subjectivity, culture, communication and otherness. Such perspective is based on the theoretical works of L. Vygotsky, M. Bakhtin e H. Habermas.
