Levantamento das necessidades odontológicas em crianças de 12 anos da zona urbana do município de Verdejantes-PE / Survey of the odontológicas necessities in children of 12years of the urban zone of the Verdejantes-PE

RESUMO

Os agravos à saúde bucal tem sido estudados em escolares, sendo a cárie um dos principais problemas encontrados. No entanto, as desordens bucais não se resumem a essa doença, pois as más-oclusões e os problemas periodontais também acometem crianças em idade escolar. O objetivo desse trabalho foi realizar um levantamento das necessidades odontologicas em crianças de 12 anos da zona urbana do município de Verdejante-PE. Participaram do estudo 50 crianças de 12 anos do município, sendo 23 do sexo feminino e 27 do sexo masculino. Os resultados mostram que 36 das 50 crianças apresentavam alteração na relação molar ântero-posterior e em 7 do total foi observada mordida aberta anterior. Com relação à cárie dentária, o CPO-D médio foi de 3,2 e 32 das crianças necessitavam de restauração de pelo menos um dente e 13 delas de tratamento pulpar. O selamento de fóssulas e fissuras foi a necessidade mais evidente, estando ausente em 45 das 50 crianças. A presença de mancha branca ativa foi encontrada em 19 das crianças. Com relação aos tecidos periodontais, 28 escolares apresentaram sangramento gengival de um quadrante e, em 4 deles, encontrou-se cálculo gengival. Portanto, percebe-se a necessidade de tratamento odontológico e preventivo nas crianças pesquisadas.

ABSTRACT

The agravos to the buccal health been studied in pertaining to school, being caries one of the main joined problems. However, the buccal clutters if do not summarize to this illness, therefore the periodontais harm-occlusions and problems also acometem children in pertaining to schoo age. The objective of this work was to carry through a survevy of the odontológicas necessities in children of 12 years of the urbanl zone of the city of Verdejante-PE. 50 children of 12 years of city, being 23 of feminine sex and 27 of the masculine sex had partipated of the study. The results show that 36 of the 50 children presented alteration in the ântero-posterior molar relation and in 7 of the total was observed bitten opened previous. With regard to the dental caries, the average CPO-D was of 3,2 and 32 of the children needed restoration of at least a tooth and 13 of them of treatment pulpar. The selamento of fóssulas and fictions was the necessity most evident, being absent in 45 of the 50 children. The presence of active white spot was found in 19 of the children. With regard to periodontais fabrics, 28 pertaining to school had presented gengival bleed of a quadrant and, in 4 of them, calculation met gengival. Therefore, it is perceived necessity of odontológico and preventive treatment in the searched children.
