Qualidade de vida de clientes em consulta de enfermagem: estudo comparativo em uma clínica de insuficiência cardíaca / Quality of life of subjects in nursering visit: comparative study at a heart failure clinic

RESUMO

A insuficiência cardíaca é uma doença crônica em crescimento no mundo. Assim como outros clientes com doenças, o cliente com IC (Insuficiência Cardíaca), geralmente, tem sua capacidade funcional diminuída, tendendo ao isolamento social devido ao estresse e outros fatores psicológicos, comprometendo, assim, sua qualidade de vida. Assim, foi delimitado o problema de pesquisa qual é a contribuição da consulta de enfermagem, baseada na escuta sensível, para qualidade de vida de clientes com IC? Considerando a proposta de contribuir para a instituição da escuta sensível na consulta de enfermagem, preconizada por Barbier, foram formulados os seguintes objetivos específicos caracterizar os clientes atendidos em consulta de enfermagem; verificar a contribuição da escuta sensível orientadora da intervenção de enfermagem com auxílio do questionário Minnesota Iiving with heart failure® questionnaire e avaliar o efeito das intervenções de enfermagem para o atendimento das queixas e diagnósticos identificados nos clientes com IC. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma Clínica de IC de um Hospital Universitário Público da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Utilizou-se o método quase-experimental, sendo a amostra composta, aleatoriamente, por 50 clientes com IC, em qualquer classe funcional da New York Heart Association. Ambos os grupos de pesquisa receberam consultas de enfermagem mensais baseadas na escuta sensível de Barbier durante o período de março a agosto de 2006. O grupo experimental (Intervenção), além das consultas, recebeu ligações telefônicas semanais, da pesquisadora, no mesmo período. Os resultados mostram o delineamento do perfil de clientes com IC, destacando-se que, no tratamento estatístico, utilizou-se, na análise univariada, os testes de hipóteses T de Student, qui-quadrado e exato de Fisher...

ABSTRACT

Heart failure (HF) is a chronic disease which is increasing in the actual world. As other clients with heart diseases, the client with heart failure usually curse with functional capacity reduced, has a tendency to social isolation due to stress and others psychological factors, compromising their quality of life. Therefore, it was determine the research problem: which is the contribution of the nursering visit based on the sensible listening to the quality of life of patients with heart failure? Considering the proposal of contribution with the nersuring visit using the sensible listening as described by Barbier, at a heart failure clinic in a public university hospital in Rio de Janeiro, it was defined the specific objectives: to characterize the clients in a nursing visit, to verify the contribution of the sensible listening to orient the intervention of the nursering using the questionnaire Minnesota Iiving with heart failure® questionnaire, and to analyze the effect of the interventions in the management of complains and diagnosis identified in the patients. It was used the semi-experimental method with a sample composed at random by 50 clients with HF of all New York Heart Association functional classes. Both groups received monthly nursering visits based on the Barbier sensible listening during the period of March to August 2006. The experimental group (interventional) received weekly phone calls from the investigator on the top of the nursering visits during the same period of time.
