Representações sobre a docência em educação física: modificações a partir de um programa de formação / Representations of physical education docent: modifications from a training program

RESUMO

Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que pretendeu verificar a ocorrência de modificações nas representações sobre os saberes para a docência em Educação Física de um grupo de professores polivalentes que freqüentaram um curso de formação contínua. Partiu-se do pressuposto que a atuação frente às situações do cotidiano dá-se em função das representações sobre o objeto ao qual se destinam as ações do sujeito. Os dados, obtidos mediante o Método Clínico de Piaget, foram confrontados com a construção teórica sobre a concepção construtivista da aprendizagem e as tendências pedagógicas da Educação Física escolar. Como descobertas relevantes destacam-se as seguintes modificações as representações dos docentes modificaram-se de uma visão dualista (corpo/mente) para uma perspectiva tecnicista (o corpo como ferramenta) e, aquelas que, inicialmente, encontravam-se neste nível, reorganizaram-se em uma visão sociocultural (o corpo cidadão). As transformações identificadas acompanharam a trajetória histórica da Educação Física no Brasil.

ABSTRACT

This article presents the results of a research intended to verify the circumstances of modifications in the representation of the knowledge for PE teaching in a group of classroom teachers participation in an ongoing educational course. Starting from a point that everyday actions happens according to representations of the object to which the individual acts. The data obtained through Piaget's Clinical Method, were confronted with the theoretical construction of the constructivism approach of learning and the pedagogical tendencies of scholar Physical Education. The following modifications of the teachers changed from a dual vision (body/mind) to a technical one (body as a tool), and those that were initially at this level, reorganized into a social-cultural vision (the citizen body). The identified modifications followed the historical pathway of Physical Education in Brazil.
