Los modelos operantes internos y sus abordajes en psicoterapia / Working models in adult attachment and psychotherapy interventions

RESUMEN

Este artículo presenta una discusión sobre las aproximaciones teóricas acerca de los estilos de apego adulto y su abordaje en Psicoterapia. Para ello se aborda la medición del apego en el adulto; se revisan las investigaciones actuales en el tema y se discuten alternativas psicoterapéuticas más utilizadas en este campo. Para el abordaje de los Modelos Operantes Internos, se revisa un método basado en la mentalización y que sugiere el reconocimiento de los factores involucrados en buenas relaciones interpersonales, los que se aplicarían a la relación terapéutica y a otras relaciones interpersonales. Se revisa también un método grupal, que explora las reacciones de los pacientes en una versión modificada del instrumento Adult Attachment Interview. Por último, se discuten las confluencias de los diferentes abordajes terapéuticos, destacando como factor común la importancia de la alianza terapéutica.

ABSTRACT

This article presents a theoretical review about adult attachment styles and how they can be approached in Psychotherapy. The review takes into consideration some measurements of adult attachment; present investigations that are reviewed, and some psychotherapeutic alternatives to produce cognitive change are suggested. The article deals with the concept of Working Models, by examining a method that suggests the recognition of the factors involved in good interpersonal relationships. This would be applied to the therapeutic relationship and to other interpersonal relationships. In a modified version oí the Adult Attachment Interview, the evaluation also includes a group method that explores patients' reactions. Finally, the confluence of different therapeutical approaches is discussed, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic alliance as common factor.
