RESUMEN
Las úlceras de las extremidades inferiores son un problema que se presenta de forma habitual y que requiere un largo tratamiento (en un porcentaje no inferior al 10 por ciento puede llegar a superar los cinco años). Además, hay que añadir otro aspecto fundamental es una lesión con una elevada variabilidad tanto diagnóstica como terapéutica. Presentamos una revisión de la literatura en la que se incluyeron aspectos de su fisiopatogenia, semiología, diagnóstico y tratamiento.
ABSTRACT
Ulcers of the lower limbs is a frequent problem that requires long term treatment (a percentage not lower than 10 percent can exceed 5 years). Another basic aspect has to be added it is a lesion with high variability both in diagnosis and therapy. We review the literature that includes its pathophysiology, clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment.
