RESUMO

A neurofibromatose é uma desordem genética manifestando os tipos 1 e 2, com critérios diagnósticos bem definidos e distintos. Neste trabalho serão apresentadas as manifestações bucais e sistêmicas da neurofibromatose, de um paciente do sexo masculino com 09 anos de idade. Discutir-se-ão etiologia, prevalência e características clínicas, enfatizando a importância do conhecimento das manifestações bucais, tratamento e possíveis complicações da doença.

ABSTRACT

The neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder manifesting the types 1 and 2 with criteria very defined and different diagnoses.In this work buccal manifestations and sistemics of Neurofibromatosis will be presented, in a patient of 09 years-old.Aetiology, prevalency and clinical characteristics will be discussed, emphasizing the importance of the knowledge of theoral manifestations, treatment and possible complications of the disease.
