RESUMEN
El objetivo del estudio es demostrar que la leche materna de una muestra de puérperas que atendieron su parto en el Hospital Materno Infantil Ramón Sardá de Buenos Aires contiene plaguicidas organoclorados. Se incluyeron 248 puérperas desde mayo del año 2000 a mayo del año 2001 y desde julio del año 2003 hasta mayo del año 2004. Metodología analítica Se analizaron en total 23 tipos de plaguicidas organoclorados opDDE, pp'DDE, op'DDD, pp'DDD, po'DDT, pp'DDT, HCB, alfa, beta, gamma y delta Hexaclorociclohexano (HCH); HXT y HXT epóxido; Aldrín, Dieldrín, Endrín; oxi, alfa y gamma Clordano; alfa y beta endosulfan; metoxicloro, mirex. Por a) Cromatografía en columna de Florisil parcialmente desactivado y elusión, b) Concentración de los extractos; c) Cromatografía gas líquido (CGL).

Resultados:

El 91,5 por ciento (lC 95 por ciento - 87,4-94,4) de las 248 muestras estudiadas tenía residuos de por lo menos un plaguicida. Los más frecuentes fueron p-p'DDE 86,7 por ciento (lC 95 por ciento 82-90) XppDDE 8.98 ng/ml, el hexaclorobenceno 26,6 por ciento (lC95 por ciento 21,5-32) XHCB 1,50 ng/ml; el heptacloroepóxido 25,4 por ciento (lC 95 por ciento 10-31) XHXT 1,27 ng/ml, el b-hexaclorociclohexano 23,0 por ciento (lC 95 por ciento 18-28) XHCH 4,32 ng/ml y el Clordano 15,7 por ciento (lC 95 por ciento 11,7-20,8) XoxiCLD 1,49 ng/ml.

Conclusión:

En un elevado porcentaje (91,5 por ciento) de una muestra de leche de puérperas estudiadas en el Hospital Materno Infantil Ramón Sardá se encontraron residuos de plaguicidas organoclorados (OC).
ABSTRACT
The objective of the study was to demonstrate that the maternal milk of a sample of women who were puerperal and attended their childbirth at the Hospital Materno Infantil Ramón Sardá have residues of organochlorine pesticides. We studied 248 women who were in puerperium period and went spontaneously to be attended at puerperium doctor's office at Hospital Materno Infantil Ramon Sarda. From 05/ 2000 to 05/ 2001 and from 07/2003 to OS/2004.

Methodology:

It was studied 23 different kinds of organ chlorines in human milkopDDE, pp'DDE, op'DDD, pp'DDD, po'DDT, pp'DDT; HCB (hexachlorobenzene); alfaHCH (hexachlorociclohexane), beta, gamma and delta HCH; Heptachlor (HXT) y HXT epóxide; Aldrín; Oieldrín; Endrín; Oxi Chlordane, Alfa Chlordane and gamma CLO; alfa and beta endosulfan; metoxichlor, mirex.

Results:

91,5 percent (lC 95 percent - 87,4-94,4) of the 248 samples contained at least one kind of the organochlorine pesticides. The most frequent was pp'DDE 86,7 percent (lC 95 percent 82-90), hexachlorobenzene 26,6 percent (lC 95 percent 21,5-32); heptachlor epoxide 25,4 percent (lC 95percent 20-31), b hexachlorociclohexane 23,0 percent (lC 95 percent 18-28) and Chlordane 15,7 percent (lC 95 percent 11,7-20,8).

Conclusion:

Residues of organ chlorine pesticides were found in most of the 248 samples of human milk (91,5 percent [IC 95 percent 87,4-94,4]). The most frequent was pp'DDE 86,7 percent (lC 95 percent 82-90) Xpp-DDE 8,98 ng/ml, the hexachlorbenzen 26,6 percent (lC 95 percent 21,5-32) X HCB 1,50 ng/ml; heptachlorepóxide 25,4 percent (lC 95 percent 10-31) X HXT 1,27 ng/ml, beta-hexachlorciclehexane 23,0 percent (lC 95 percent 18-28) XHCH 4,32ng/ml and Clordane 15,7 percent (IC 95 percent 11,7-20,8) X oxiCLD 1.49 ng/ml.
