RESUMO

Objetivo:

descrever as características epidemiológicas dos pacientes com lombalgia que utilizaram o Serviço de Fisioterapia da POLICLÍNICA.

Método:

estudo transversal de prevalência, onde se utilizou como protocolo de pesquisa a revisão de 110 prontuários, considerando-se os dados prevalentes das seguintes variáveis sexo, grupo etário, profissão, condições de trabalho, Classificação Nacional de Atividades Econômicas e etiologia de lombalgia.

Resultados:

72 pacientes (65%) eram do sexo feminino; 73 (66,36%) compreendiam o grupo etário de 30 a 59 anos; 81 (73,64%) eram trabalhadores ativos; 44 (40%) se encontravam em condições de trabalho grave; e 53 (48,18%) possuíam atividades profissionais com grau de risco 2 segundo a NR-4.

Conclusão:

a lombalgia foi o sintoma prevalente no sexo feminino, em trabalhadores ativos em condições de trabalho grave.
ABSTRACT

Objective:

The aim of this paper was describe the epidemiologist's characteristic of low back pain patients who have used the Physical Therapy Service of POLICLÍNICA.

Method:

Study cross-sectional of prevalence, where was used as research protocol the 110 handbooks. The variables considered was sex, age, profession, working conditions. Activity and low back pain etiology.

Results:

72 patients (65%) were female; 73 (66,36%) were age from 30 to 59 years; 81 (73,64%) were labours active; 44 (40%) were serious working condirions; e 53 (48,18%) were kind of work wirh risk 2 according to RN-4.

Conclusion:

Low back pain was the prevalent symptom found female up, ir was found also labours active on serious working conditions.
