O problema da violência nos estádios e as torcidas organizadas de times de futebol: um ensaio teórico sobre importante fenômeno urbano da atualidade / The problem of the violence on stadiums and soccer supporters: a theoretical essay on an important urban phenomenon of the present time

RESUMO

A proposta deste ensaio foi refletir e organizar idéias sobre o fenômeno da violência nos estádios de futebol levando-se em consideração a participação das torcidas organizadas neste contexto. Para a coleta de material foram utilizadas obras de referência, dentre elas, livros e periódicos, priorizando textos da literatura das últimas décadas nos idiomas português, espanhol e inglês, sendo consultadas as bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE, SCIELO e ADOLEC, vinculadas à biblioteca virtual BIREME, utilizando os descritores Violência, esportes e futebol. Observou-se que os aspectos econômicos e sociais podem ser apontados como determinantes para explicar este típico fenômeno da violência observada nos estádios e que a prevenção é um importante caminho a ser adotado, sendo fundamental compreender a necessidade de uma articulação coletiva, de caráter intersetorial e multiprofissional para superá-lo. Concluise, apontando a importância de se investir em pesquisas para esclarecer vínculos estabelecidos com temas como a violência urbana na vida das pessoas, a necessidade de educação do espectador e a implementação de medidas de punição.

ABSTRACT

This essay's purpose was to reflect and organize ideas about the violence phenomenon in soccer stadiums, taking into consideration the participation of the organized supporter groups in this context. For the material collection, reference texts had been used, amongst them, journals and books, prioritizing literature from the last decades in the Portuguese, Spanish and English languages, and being consulted the LILACS, MEDLINE, SCIELO and ADOLEC databases, tied with the virtual library BIREME, using the terms violence, sports and soccer. It was observed that the economic and social aspects can be appointed as determinative to explain this typical phenomenon of the violence observed in stadiums and that the prevention is an important path to be followed, and that it is essential to understand the need of collective articulation, of intersectional and multi-professional character to surpass it. It is concluded, highlighting the importance of investing in research to clarify relations between people's life and violence, the need for supporter education and punish measures implementation.
