Propõe-se analisar o tratamento das paixões da alma apresentado pelo médico italiano Alessandro Petronio em seu Del viver delli romani et di conservar la sanità, de 1592. Petronio sistematiza intervenções terapêuticas que agem na articulação entre as paixões, a capacidade de imaginar e pensar os cuidados com o corpo e a relação com o desejo.

ABSTRACT

In this article, the treatment of the passions of the soul, referred to by the Italian physician Alessandro Petronio in his Del viver delli romani et di conservar la sanitá, written in 1592. Petronio systematizes therapeutic interventions related to the connections among passions, the ability to imagine and understand bodily care, and the relation to desire.
