RESUMO

O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar a viabilidade clínica da carga imediata em mandíbula pela elucidação de um caso clínico no qual se conseguiu estética e função satisfatórias. A explanação do caso é precedida por uma breve revista literária onde a maioria dos autores é concorde com a execução da carga imediata, tipo protocolo mandibular, em casos onde não haja contraindicações sistêmicas e que a estabilidade primária e a qualidade óssea estejam asseguradas. Os autores concluem que este procedimento clínico é um recurso viável no campo da reabilitação oral e, dentro das indicações de utilização, devolve estética e função com maior comodidade ao paciente.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to present the clinical viability of the immediate loading in jaw through the briefing of a clinical case report in which the aesthetic and function were satisfactorily obtained. The explanation of the case is preceded by a brief literature review, where most of the authors agree with the execution of immediate loading on the lower jaw, in cases where it does not have systemic contraindications, and that the primary stability and the quality of the bone are assured. The authors conclude that this clinical procedure is a viable resource for oral rehabilitation procedures and, within its indications, regains aesthetic and function to achieve patient´s comfort.
