A dispersão do pensamento psicológico / The dispersion of psychological thinking

RESUMO

É reconhecida a extensa dispersão sofrida pela Psicologia, decorrente da utilização de perspectivas epistemológicas, metodológicas e conceptuais diversas. Esse processo expressou-se por meio da produção de diferentes teorias e sistemas que marcaram a primeira metade do século XX. Tal situação motivou, segundo Penna (1997), uma intensa crise dissertada por alguns psicólogos, objetivando alcançar a unidade do saber psicológico, principalmente pelos integrantes do movimento behaviorista. No presente texto, centrado na problemática da dispersão, serão focalizados os diversos sistemas e projetos que caracterizam a Psicologia, a emergência da Psicologia como ciência independente, delineando diferentes trajetos para os estudos psicológicos, envolvendo métodos e conceitos que evidenciam a dispersão do campo da Psicologia como irremediável

ABSTRACT

The extended dispersion as a mark in the Psychological thinking is well known, due to the employment of different epistemological, conceptual and methodological perspectives. Such a process has been expressed through the production of many and diverse theories end systems, mainly in the first half of the XX century. This situation resulted in an intense crisis that has been discussed by some historical psychologists, with the aim to think about the so-called unity for the Psychological knowledge, mainly among the participants of the behavioral movement. In this present work, the problematic dispersion will be pursued by presenting the diversity of systems and projects that aimed to characterize Psychology as an emergent science. It will be presented the different paths for the Psychological thinking by their concepts and methods in order to give that the dispersion in the Psychological field is inevitable
