RESUMEN
Se realizó un estudio de intervención educativa sobre la infección vaginal en las pacientes dispensarizadas de la Comuna de Ouanamenthe con el objetivo de elevar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la infección vaginal en mujeres en edad fértil de la Comuna de Ouanaminthe de enero-junio de 2006. Se usó el método estadístico Epinfo 6.0. Fueron estudiados 150 pacientes con infección vaginal mediante el método aleatorio simple de un total de 346 mujeres en edad fértil con riesgo preconcepcional del área dispensarizada. Se logró incrementar el nivel de conocimiento de las pacientes atendidas con sepsis vaginal. Se determinó que las infecciones por candidas albicans y gardenella vaginales fueron las causas mas frecuentes de sepsis vaginal. Se logra que más del 90 por ciento de las pacientes tengan una respuesta positiva al tratamiento higiénico medicamentoso impuesto.
ABSTRACT
An educational intervention study on the vaginal infection was carried out from January to June/2006 in the community of Ouanamenthe to the dispensarized patients, with the objective to elevate the level of knowledge on the vaginal infection that women in fertile age from this place had. The statistical method Epinfo 6,0 was used and 150 patients with vaginal infection were studied by means of the simple aleatorian method from a total of 346 women in fertile age with preconcepcional risk in the dispensarizaded area. An increasement of the level of knowledge of the patients attended with vaginal sepsis, was achieved and it was also determined that the infections by Candidas Albicans and Vaginal Gardenella were the most frequent causes of Vaginal Sepsis. It was achieved that more than the 90 percent of the patients had a positive answer to the hygienic drug treatment imposed.
