RESUMEN

Se indagó acerca de la experiencia cubana sobre el pesquisaje oftalmológico activo en niños y adultos, antes y después de la Misión Milagro, y se expusieron los elementos que permiten considerarlo actualmente como un hecho inédito en el campo de la salud.

ABSTRACT

An investigation on the Cuban experience in active ophtalmologic screening in children and adults before and after the "Misión Milagro" was conducted, and elements that allow to consider it at present as an unpublished fact in the health field are exposed.
