Utilización del compuesto MTA en perforaciones radiculares sin acción quirúrgica / Use of the MTA in radicular perforations without surgical action

RESUMEN

Este estudio corresponde a una serie de 22 casos de piezas con perforaciones radiculares donde se realizó el posterior sellado de éstas con agregado trióxido mineral (MTA), a nivel del tercio cervical. Fueron elegidos para el estudio premolares superiores e inferiores. El estudio plantea como objetivo conocer las propiedades, ventajas e indicaciones del MTA y también la viabilidad de la terapia en estos tratamientos, recordando que es necesario realizar nuevos ensayos clínicos que logren demostrar la efectividad de este material.

ABSTRACT

This study corresponds to a series of 22 cases of pieces with radicular perforations that where sealed with MTA to the level of the third cervical. Choosing for the study superior and inferior premolars. The study proposed as objective to know the properties, advantages and indications of the MTA, also the viability of the therapy in these treatments, remembering that is necessary to make new clinical tests that achieve to demonstrate the effectiveness of this material.
