Esporte de aventura e ambiente natural: dimensão preservacional na sociedade de consumo / Adventure Sport and environment: preserving dimension in the consumption society

RESUMO

Percebe-se uma estreita relação entre esporte de aventura e natureza, uma vez que o meio ambiente se apresenta como cenário para a realização das modalidades do referido segmento esportivo, suscitando uma interação entre o praticante e o respectivo meio. No aspecto preservacional, se por um lado pode-se lançar um olhar positivo em relação a esta interação do homem com a natureza através da prática do esporte de aventura, por outro este processo merece atenção, pois o esporte de aventura assenta-se sob a lógica da sociedade de consumo. Desta forma é possível afirmar que as práticas do esporte de aventura podem ocasionar a um determinado meio natural impacto ambiental que, dependendo da qualidade da intervenção ali desenvolvida poderão se configurar como positivo ou negativo ao ambiente natural onde é praticado.

ABSTRACT

It is possible to notice a narrow relation between adventure and nature sport, since the environment is presented like scenary for the achievement of modalities of the referred sporting segment, stirring up an interaction between the practitioner and the respective environment. In the preserving aspect, if on one hand it is possible to have a positive look regarding this interaction of the man with the nature through the practice of the adventure sport, on another this trial deserves attention, once the adventure sport is settled under the logical of the consumption society. This way it is possible to affirm that the practices of the adventure sport can cause to a determined environment natural environmental impact that, depending on the quality of the intervention developed there, it can be configured as positive or negative to the natural environment where it is practiced.
