Lazer e escola: espaços de possibilidades / Leisure and school: spaces of possibilities

RESUMO

Este trabalho refere-se a uma estratégia de ensino que buscou comparar as possibilidades de fruição do lazer entre alunos de duas escolas do município de Uberlândia-MG, sendo uma da rede municipal, Escola Municipal Freitas Azevedo (EMFA), e outra da rede particular, Colégio INEI-RENASCENÇA. O objetivo do trabalho foi o de identificar como se dá o acesso a práticas concretas de lazer em realidades que suponho bem diversa. A partir da coleta e da análise dos dados, promoveu-se uma discussão com os alunos da EMFA, a respeito dos aspectos políticos e sociais que envolvem o lazer, bem como foram disponibilizados esses instrumentais aos profissionais do Colégio INEI-RENASCENÇA.

ABSTRACT

This article concerns a teaching strategy that is aimed at comparing the fruition of leisure among students from two schools in the city of Uberlândia-MG, a public school belonging to the municipal school district, Escola Municipal Freitas Azevedo (EMFA); and a private school, Colégio INEI-RENASCENÇA. The purpose of the work is to identify how concrete leisure practices are accessed in such realities, assumed to be quite distinct from each other. After data collection and analysis, a discussion was promoted among EMFA students in order to evaluate the political and social aspects involved in leisure. In addition to that, these instruments were shared with Colégio INEI-RENASCENÇA staff.
