ABSTRACT
The Hepatic Growth Factor (HGF) is a cellular comunication molecule mediator with an escential function in epithelial cell biology and pathobiology, and equally for other cell lines, such as hemato-immune, muscular and neuronal cells. With physiologic activities in cellular specification, commiment, proliferation, migration, normal invasion, differentiation, maduration, maintenance, trophism, and regeneration. Its misfunction is also fundamental in cancer. The objetive of this article is to make an actualized review of the theme.
