Participación comunitaria y control del dengue / Community Involvement and control of dengue

RESUMEN

El dengue es un problema prioritario de salud pública. Su prevención está sustentada en medidas de atención intervenciones, implementan y evaluan estrategias. Existen varios obstáculos para lograr la PC, como la falta de una política pública al respecto, clientelismo político, intervención de grupos armados, falta de ética ciudadana, pobreza,dengue, la PC propicia unión entre vecinos para mejorar el entorno, obtener servicios públicos, controlar criaderos sobre la importancia de la PC para control del dengue y se describen los obstáculos para promoverla.

ABSTRACT

The dengue is a priority public health problem. Its prevention is holding in measures of primary care with community participation (PC) to get longer results. The PC is a social process through the citizen to search the community development, to protect collective interests, to identify problems, to guide interventions, to implement and to evaluate strategys. There are some obstacles for PC, like the abscence of public policy about it, the political coustomers, the interventiosn of ilegals groups, the poverty, lack of information, aphaty, lack of leadership, uprooting, distrust and fear. In the control of dengue, PC helps people union for improving the environment, to get public services, breeding places control and educate for the community. To get PC for environment care is the challenge. We show a reflection about the importance of PC in dengue´s control and we describe the obstacles for gets it.
