RESUMO
A Classe III é uma discrepância ântero-posterior esquelética, dentária e funcional. O Tratamento ortopédico é a protração maxilar; o tratamento ortodôntico é a camuflagem e o tratamento cirúrgico é o avanço maxilar. O objetivo é relatar um caso de correção por cirurgia ortognática de má-oclusão de Classe III com deficiência maxilar.
ABSTRACT
Class III is a skeletal, dental and functional anteroposterior discrepancy. The orthopedic treatment is maxillary protraction; the orthodontic treatment is camouflage and the surgical treatment is the maxillary advance. The aim is torelate a case of orthognatic surgical correction of a Class III malocclusion and maxillary deficiency.
