Movimentação ortocirúrgica de dentes anquilosados / Ortho surgical movimentation of ankylosed teeth

RESUMO

O autotransplante de dentes anquilosados, associado ao fragmento ósseo, tem como maior indicação manter a integridade do ligamento periodontal. Neste trabalho será apresentado um caso onde foi tentada a movimentação de um canino retido por três anos e várias técnicas de tracionamento, sem sucesso. Após o tracionamento ortoci~rgicof,o i realizado controle radiográficoperiapical padronizado semestralmente por três anos. Devido à integridade radicular ao término do controle, concluímos que a técnica apresentada foi segura na recuperação de dentes anquilosados.

ABSTRACT

Autotransplantation of ankylosed teeth, associated with the bone fragment, has as highest indication to keep the integrity of the periodontal ligament. In this study it will be presented a case where it was attempted the movement of a canine tooth restrained for three year with the use of severa1 traction techniques without having any success. After the evidence of ankylosis, it was performed the orthodontic-surgical traction with standard periapical radiographic controls every six months for a period of three years. Due to the root integrity at the end of the control, it was concluded that the technique presented was safe in the recovery of ankylosed teeth.
