Rehabilitación funcional del anciano / The elderly functional rehabilitation

RESUMEN

El artículo trata sobre los trastornos de la movilidad y las modalidades terapéuticas que ayudan a los ancianos en el proceso de rehabilitación, con especial énfasis en los beneficios que les reportan los ejercicios físicos y en la función del fisioterapeuta para lograr y mantener la mayor independencia posible en estos pacientes.

ABSTRACT

The paper deals with the dysfunctions of mobility and the therapeutic modalities that help the elderly in the rehabilitation process, with special emphasis on the benefits that represent for them the physical exercises and on the physiotherapist's role to achieve and maintain the greatest possible independence of these patients.
