RESUMEN
Realiza reflexiones sobre el desempeño profesional del enfermero en los escenarios educativos y asistenciales; siendo la función docencia y la función asistencia, independientes pero a la vez complementarias, ya que el enfermero es el responsable de la aplicación de programas educativos que elevan la calidad de vida de las personas y en el campo asistencial se administran tratamientos con conocimientos y habilidades procedimentales que alivian los problemas de salud.
ABSTRACT
Make reflections on the professional performance of nurses in educational settings and care; being the teaching function and support function, independent but simultaneously complementary, since the nurse is responsible for the implementation of educational programs that enhance the quality of life of people and in the welfare field treatments are given knowledge and procedural skills that relieve the problems of health.
