ABSTRACT
Trauma is described as an injury that results from an external force and it is one of the health problems that the society is facing nowadays. It has no predictable pattern of intensity and may not only leave physical injuries but also has a psychological impact on the victim. Dentoalveolar trauma can occur alone or associated with other injuries in soft tissues. From all of them, tooth avulsion ranges from 7-13% of all traumatic injuries to the primary dentition and it consists in tooth complete movement from its original position in its alveolus. Management of deciduous teeth that suffered from avulsion should be aimed to prevent development of alterations in the permanent succeeding teeth.
