ABSTRACT
Pablo Luis Mirizzi was a recognized Argentine surgeon that introduced the opertive cholangiography in 1931 as method of exploration of the common bile duct. This exploratory procedure extended throughout the world. This article remembers the life and work of this notable surgeon and noted teacher.
