Topografia dos forames mentonianos laterais em suínos das linhagens agroceres e seghers genetics do Brasil / Topographic of lateral mentonian foramen in swines of agroceres and seghers genetics of Brazil races

RESUMO

A odontologia animal é uma área emergente e de extrema importância da medicina veterinária.Objetivando ampliar os conhecimentos desta área, e que também serão de grande valor em testes comparativos com humanos, foram estudados topograficamente e numericamente os forames mentonianos laterais em hemimandíbulas de suínos das linhagens Agroceres e Seghers Genetics do Brasil com idades variando de 150 a 170 dias. Usando como referência o terceiro pré-molar decíduo inferior, observou-se que o mais posterior dos forames mentonianos laterais, em 95,2% das hemimandíbulas estudadas está localizado no nível deste dente, sendo que os forames mentonianos laterais mais anteriores estão irregularmente dispostos rostralmente ao supracitado. Os forames mentonianos laterais são em número de três em 61,9% dos casos observados, sendo que no sentido ventro dorsal, todos observados estão localizados no terço médio do corpo da mandíbula. Com base nestas observações ter-se-á maior segurança na execução de uma intervenção operatória nesta região e de se anestesiar, caso necessário, o nervomental que aí se faz presente.

ABSTRACT

Nowadays emerge a very important branch to veterinary medicine that is the veterinary odontology. In porpouse to extend the acquirements of this area, and that will be also of the great valor incomparative tests for humans, we studied topographically and numerically the lateral mentonian foramen of swine hemimandibles of races Agroceres and Seghers Genetics do Brazil with the age varying fo the 150 by 170 days.Using like referencethe third senile premolar lower, we saw thet 95,2% of the most posterior mentonian foramen are situated in the level of this tooth, although the others mentonian foremen are irregularly cranial disposed regarding to explanation above. Of numerical whole, the lateral mentonian foramen are in number of three on 61,9% observed cases, although in dorsal abdomen direction, all the observed are located in medial third part of the mandible body. From this analisis, we will have more operatory safety, to a possible intervention on this region or in face of anesthetize the nerve mentalpresent there, the success chance will be certainly bigger.
