Investigar la terapéutica clínica por fisioterapia en población colombiana: un reto para la contrucción del conocimiento / Investigating clinical therapeutics by physiotherapy in the Colombian population: a challenge for the construction of knowledge

RESUMEN

El Movimiento Corporal Humano es el objeto de estudio de la fisioterapia y sus teorías son motivo de análisis y permanente reflexión por lo cual es necesario que éste profesional asuma la terapéutica clínica como un reto importante para mejorarlo cuando estructuralmente se compromete. En Colombia la investigación en esta área no se socializa de forma frecuente y es escasa en revistas científicas y virtuales, lo cual dificulta la construcción del conocimiento, su aplicación al contexto y lleva a que se utilicen conductas de intervención desarrolladas en entornos distintos al colombiano. Diferentes estamentos y específicamente la Confederación Mundial de Terapia Física (WCPT) llama la atención de los profesionales y académicos para que se haga de la investigación una fortaleza tanto en la docencia como en la práctica clínica y ésta última destaca su importancia como esencia para el desarrollo de la práctica basada en la evidencia en fisioterapia(1).Para la elaboración de éste artículo se hizo la revisión de documentos relacionados con la temática tanto en físico como en virtual en idioma español e inglés, que permitió hacer ésta reflexión y mostrar la conveniencia de investigar la terapéutica clínica para mejorar la condición integral del paciente y dar calidad de vida de quienes aborda el profesional en Fisioterapia.

ABSTRACT

The Human Body Movement is the study object of physiotherapy and its theories are motive for analysis and constant reflection which makes necessary that this professional assumes clinical therapeutics as an important challenge for improving it when structurally compromised. In Colombia, research in this area is not socialized frequently and is scarce on scientific and virtual magazines, which difficult the construction of knowledge, its application to a context and leads to the use of intervention behaviors and conducts developed in environments different to the one in Colombia. Different statutes and specifically the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCTP) call out the attention of professionals and academics to make research a strong point both in teaching as well as in clinical practice, and the latter highlights its importance as the essence for the development of a practice based on evidence in physiotherapy(1).In the writing of this article research was done on documents related with the subject, both in physic and digital mediums in both English and Spanish, which permitted to make this reflection and to show the convenience of researching clinical therapeutics to improve the integral condition of the patient and give quality of life to those encountered by the professional in physiotherapy.
