O romance familiar trágico de Édipo / The tragic family romance of Oedipus

RESUMO

Este artigo trabalha, a partir de Lévi-Strauss, o complexo de Édipo que é valorizado por Lacan, desde Freud, como sendo a construção do mito individual do neurótico - a tragédia é a contradição própria do inconsciente. Sublinha a importância do romance familiar e a dimensão da tragédia do mito de Édipo na vida de cada sujeito. Édipo somos todos nós diante do desejo do Outro. O que o Outro quer de mim? Pode o Outro me perder? A resposta a essas questões é o mito estruturante dada por cada um. Édipo encarna a própria divisão do sujeito. Ele sabe e não sabe. É culpado, mas também é inocente.

ABSTRACT

Starting from Lévi-Strauss, this article analyzes the Oedipus complex that is valued by Lacan, since Freud, as the construction of the myth of the neurotic individual - the tragedy is itself a contradiction of the unconscious. It underlines the importance of the family romance and the tragic dimension of the myth of Oedipus in the life of each person. Oedipus is all of us before the desire of the Other. What does the Other want from me? Can the Other lose me? The answer to these questions is the structure myth given by each one of us. Oedipus embodies the division of the subject. He knows and he doesn’t know. He is guilty, but he is also innocent.
