Los tiempos actuales, una amenaza al fuero interior y a la capacidad de ensimismarse / Current times: a threat to the heart of hearts and the ability to be in one's self

RESUMEN

El trabajo se plantea reflexionar sobre la zona de articulación o conflicto entre lo público y lo privado –zona de producción dialéctica de un yo y un nosotros o de anudamiento del yo de la vida íntima y el nosotros de la vida social– en la actualidad, donde se encuentra la experiencia inédita de un psiquismo que funciona con parámetros diferentes en sus coordenadas témporo-espaciales, como consecuencia de los vertiginosos cambios civilizatorios, que se estudian. Epistemológicamente propone abordajes multirreferenciales y se ubica en una perspectiva constructivista: nacemos cuerpo en una trama social que construimos para vivir en la que el lenguaje es fábrica de significados que organizan y ordenan los datos sensoriales y nos permite habitar en un universo simbólico. Pero, en el vértigo civilizatorio, en la expansión desorbitada de la urbe, en la instantaneidad de las comunicaciones, con la caída de los grandes relatos unificadores y su correspondiente fragmentación social –con diálogo fanático intratribu y sin diálogo intertribu– con vacío en la transmisión generacional y total desmoronamiento de la legitimidad del orden patriarcal, se da la peripecia de la construcción identitaria que debe llevar a cabo cada sujeto individual y colectivo. El autor trabaja cómo influyen estas transformaciones sobre el psiquismo y en qué desafían a la clínica psicoanalítica actual.

ABSTRACT

The paper aims at reflecting on the present day connection, or ‘conflict zone’, between the private and the public, a zone of dialectic production performed by an ‘Ego’ and an ‘Us’, a zone where the ‘Ego’ of private life and the ‘Us’ of social life become tied together. It is precisely in our time that we come across the unprecedented event of a psyche that works along different parameters with regard to time and space as a consequence of the vertiginous changes in civilization, which are examined. From the epistemological perspective, the author puts forward multi-referential approaches within a constructivist viewpoint: we are born in a social weft that we build in order to live, and where language is a factory of meanings which, in turn, organize and put sensory data in order: all this allows us to live in a symbolic universe. However, with the civilizing vertigo, the meteoric growth of cities, the instantaneous communications, the fall of the great unifying tales and the corresponding social fragmentation (which involves fanatical intra-tribal dialogue and lack of inter-tribal dialogue), with a void in the transmission between generations and an absolute collapse of the legitimacy of the patriarchal order, with all this, the construction of identity that must be carried out by each individual and collective subject, is therefore the object of constant change. The author discusses how these transformations affect the psyche and in which way do they challenge the present psychoanalytic clinical practice.
