RESUMEN
El presente artículo analiza la problemática del aprendizaje en la sociedad de la información, por medio del estudio de la reforma educacional propuesta en Brasil en las últimas décadas y sus resultados. Propone una revisión de las explicaciones del fracaso escolar basadas en problemas de aprendizaje del alumno, debido a atrasos cognitivos y lingüísticos. Y, a partir de las tesis de las formas escolares escriturales, y de la perpetuidad de las formas de imposición y dominación cultural operadas por la escuela, discute la necesidad de revisión de las concepciones y relaciones psicopedagógicas, que, bajo la capa de una enseñanza democratizante y reflexiva, aún organizan la vida cotidiana de las instituciones escolares, mediante relaciones instrumentales con el conocimiento, sin considerar las formas de apropiación y las prácticas de lectura escrita en la cultura popular.
ABSTRACT
This article examines the subject matter of learning within the context of information society, through an inquiry concerning both the reforms in education adopted in Brazil in the last thirty years and their results. It provides a revision on the explanations of school failure based on assumptions of learning problems due to cognitive and linguistic deficits. From the guidelines related with written school forms as well as the constant cultural oppression accomplished inside the school, the article claims the necessity of changing the psychological and pedagogic views that, under the label of democratic practices, determine school institutions and its daily life, by means of instrumental relations with knowledge that disregard the reading practices which are congenial to popular culture.
