RESUMO
O objetivo deste trabalho foi testar in vitro a resistência ao cisalhamento de dois tipos diferentes de materiais de colagem resinas compostas fotopolimerizáveis Herculite Classic® (Kerr) e Charisma® (Kulzer) na fixação de bráquetes metálicos (Morelli). Foram utilizados 10 pré-molares humanos. As faces vestibulares de 10 pré-molares receberam condicionamento e os bráquetes foram fixados utilizando as devidas resinas. As amostras foram armazenadas em solução de soro fisiológico a 0,9% a 37ºC por 24 horas. Em seguida, foram submetidas ao teste de resistência ao cisalhamento em uma máquina Universal de Ensaios (EMIC MF 2000) com célula de carga de 20 Kn em velocidade de deslocamento vertical de 0,5 mm/min. Esses valores foram submetidos à análise de t-student não pareado, que mostrou diferença significativa entre elas. De acordo com as condições experimentais deste trabalho, pareceu lícito concluir que a resina composta Herculite Classic® (Kerr) quando comparada com a colagem com Charisma® (Kulzer) apresentou maior resistência ao teste de cisalhamento.
ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to test in vitro the shear bond strength of two different types of collage materials composites photopolymerizable Herculite Classic® (Kerr) and Charisma® (Kulzer) in the setting of metallic brackets (Morelli). We used 10 extracted human premolars. The buccal surfaces of 10 premolars received conditioning and the brackets were set using appropriate resins. The samples were stored in saline solution 0.9% at 37ºC for 24 hours. Were then tested with the shear strength in a universal testing machine (EMIC MF 2000) with a load cell of 20 kn in vertical travel speed of 0.5 mm/min. These values were subjected to analysis of unpaired t-student test, which showed significant difference between them.
