Graffiti e cidade: sentidos da intervenção urbana e o processo de constituição dos sujeitos / Graffiti and city: senses of the urban intervention and the process of the subjects constitutions

RESUMO

O graffiti se apresenta como forma de intervenção urbana e expressão estética recorrente em cidades do mundo inteiro. Objetivou-se, a partir de entrevistas com seis grafiteiros da cidade de Florianópolis, investigar os sentidos atribuídos ao graffiti e os percursos de vida que os levaram à atividade do graffiti urbano. Para análise das entrevistas, utilizou-se análise de discurso com referencial teórico de Bakhtin e Vigotski. Foi possível constatar que, da pichação-diversão na juventude em que vislumbravam maneiras outras de viver no urbano, os jovens aproximaram-se do graffiti. Graffiti para eles é lazer e meio pelo qual se comunicam com a cidade e com seus transeuntes; buscam reconhecimento social e protestam contra as condições de vida da população com uma atividade reconhecida, por muitos deles, como arte. Foi possível observar que graffitar para eles é permeado por sentidos que se diferenciam dos já conhecidos, denotando pessoas que se relacionam com o mundo significativamente, constituindo-se sujeitos possíveis no urbano por meio desses sentidos muitas vezes revisitados. Sentidos construídos pela e nas suas histórias particulares.

ABSTRACT

The graffiti present itself as a form of urban intervention and aesthetics expression very that appears frequently in cities of the whole world. This article objected, from six interviews with graffitists of Florianópolis' city, to investigate the senses attributed to the graffiti and the life courses that took the graffitists to the urban graffiti activity. To analyze the interviews, was used the speech analysis, from Bakhtinïs and Vigotskiïs as theoretical referential. It was observed that, of the graffiti-amusement in the youth, in which they glimpsed another ways of live in the urban, the young people got closer to the graffiti. For them, graffiti is also leisure and a way to communicate with the city and with the transients; they look for social recognition and they protest about the conditions of life of the population with an activity identified, for many graffitists, as art. We can observed that the activity that the graffitists accomplishes have singulars senses, denoting individuals that have a significant relation with the world, being constituted possible individuals in the urban for middle those senses revisited. Senses that are built in the peculiar histories of the investigated graffitists.
