Estudo comparativo do desempenho obstétrico de adolecentes das faixas etárias de 14 a 16 anos e 17 a 19 anos / Comparative study of the pregnancy and labour the 14 to 16 year old and 17 to 19 year old teenagers

RESUMO

Realizou-se estudo transversal com 330 adolescentes parturientes atendidas no Hospital Júlia Kubitscheck - FHEMIG, Belo Horizonte - MG, entre 01/07/1998 e 30/06/1999. O objetivo foi avaliar o desempenho obstétrico entre dois grupos de adolescentes (14 a 16 anos e 17 a 19 anos) e os fatores correlacionados ao mesmo. Não encontramos diferenças estatisticamente significantes entre os dois grupos quanto ao tipo de parto, as complicações maternas e dos recém-nascidos (RNs). Entretanto, encontrou-se diferença estatística quando se comparou o número de complicações dos RNs ao grau de escolaridade materna (quanto maior a escolaridade materna maior foi o índice de complicações). O desempenho obstétrico não foi pior no grupo de adolescentes precoces.

ABSTRACT

It was accomplished a retrospective study with 330 teenagers parturiencies attended in Hospital Júlia Kubitscheck — FHEMIG (Belo Horizonte — MG), come in 01/07/1998 and 30/06/1999. The goal was to evaluate the performance obstetric input two teenagers' groups (14 to 16 years and 17 to 19 years) and the possible correlated to the same. We do not find statistically significant difference input both groups regarding the childbirth type, the maternal complications and of the newborn, however, ir met itself differentiates statistics when it com- pared itself the number of complications of newborn to the degree of maternal education (how much larger the larger maternal education was the complications index). The obstetrical performance was not worse in the teenagers' precocious group.
