RESUMO
A pesquisa objetivou mapear alguns aspectos relativos ao quadro teórico dos estudos de gênero na Educação Física (EF) no Brasil correntes teóricas, temáticas recorrentes, lacunas, grupos de pesquisa e intelectuais cadastrados no CNPq, além dos livros sobre Gênero na EF e esporte. A literatura aponta que os estudos de gênero na EF iniciam na década de 1980, organizando-se em três correntes centrais marxista, culturalista e pós-estruturalista. Abordam temáticas como metodologias de ensino na EF escolar, estereótipos nas práticas corporais, mecanismos de inclusão e exclusão na EF; História das Mulheres no desporto; Representações sociais sobre Gênero na mídia esportiva; Mulheres em posições de comando no desporto; e Identidades de gênero no desporto. Tais estudos têm abordado prioritariamente as mulheres, apresentando algumas lacunas teóricas. Identificaram-se 14 livros sobre a temática na literatura da EF, além de grupos de pesquisa consolidados na EF, intelectuais com doutoramento na área e um número relevante de teses e dissertações.
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to present some aspects of the theoretical framework of Gender Studies in Physical Education (PE) in Brazil their theoric trends, frequent topics, gaps, research groups, intellectuals in CNPq, and the books about Gender and PE. The literature shows that the Gender studies in PE began in the 1980 decade. It is organized into three central trends Marxist, Culturalist, and post-structuralist. They approach topics as learning methodologies in scholar PE; stereotypes in body practices; inclusion and exclusion practices in PE; Womens History in sport; Social representations about gender in sport media; Women in managers position in sport; and Gender identities in sport. These studies have approached mainly women, presenting some theoric gaps. We identified 14 books about Gender in PE literature, research groups consolidated, intellectuals with doctors degree in area, and a relevant number of thesis and dissertations.
