RESUMO
O aparelho de extrabucal conjugado, introduzido na literatura por Thurow, constitui uma das abordagens para o tratamento da má oclusão de Classe II, divisão 1. O objetivo do presente trabalho consiste em salientar aspectos do diagnóstico que irão possibilitar a indicação desse aparelho na dentadura mista, bem como observar ops efeitos esqueléticos, dentários e tegumentares induzidos.
