RESUMEN
Las lesiones subepiteliales encontradas en el tubo digestivo superior, aunque infrecuentes, pueden generar incertidumbre en su abordaje diagnóstico y manejo. A la luz de un caso, se revisan los hallazgos endosonográficos y se describen las recomendaciones actuales que permiten un enfoque racional de estas lesiones.
ABSTRACT
Although subepithelial lesions are rarely found in the upper gastrointestinal tract, they can cause uncertainty in diagnostic approach and management. Endosonographic findings are described and current recommendations are reviewed in light of one case in order to allow for a rational approach to these lesions.
