ABSTRACT
ABSTRAC The relationship between consumption patterns of psychoactive drugs and dental and psialoquimica situation of young people between 15 and 30 years attending the program for recovery change was analyzed. The clinical examination allowed relieve dental plaque index, CPI, DMFT, WS, Stomatological lesions (SL), Malocclusion and TMJ disorders. Salivary flow, pH and buffering capacity in mixed saliva stimulated and unstimulated were assessed. Consumption patterns of APS were obtained through analysis of documents (clinical history of the institution). We applied the Spearman coefficient (CS ≥ 0.50) to determine the association of dental clinical variables and habits. Population is partitioned according to time of exposure to APD, using as a cutoff point the median value of exposure time (7 years), applying in each group of Correspondence Analysis to analyze the association between the variables studied. It highlights the associations between exposure time to APS and SL and component D of DMFT. The association between WS, D, CPI grade 4, polydrug use, history of consumption> 1 / week, when the exposure time is> 7yrs and were associated with no D, no SL, CPI = 0, cannabis use and frequency of occasional consumption, with exposure time of <7 years. Polydrug use, frequency and exposure time APS, would be the factors most negative impact on the oral health.
