Estoma (fístula) intrabucal com diagnóstico objetivo através de guta percha e radiografia: relato de caso / Stoma (fistula) with intraoral diagnostic objective through gutta percha and radiography: a case report

RESUMO

Os autores destacam a necessidade do exame diferencial com guta percha e Rx, para diagnóstico do elemento causador do estoma (fístula intraoral) em um caso apresentado de lesões periapicais em dois elementos dentários adjacentes, o 11 e 12. O achado clínico foi uma fístula (estoma) na altura entre esses dois elementos. É evidenciada a importância da guta percha para diagnóstico da origem da infecção, podendo ser usada sem maiores riscos.

ABSTRACT

The authors emphasize the necessity of examining differential with gutta percha and Rx for diagnosis of the element causing the stoma (intraoral fistula) in a case of periapical lesions in two adjacent teeth, 11 and 12. The clinical finding was a fistula (stoma) in height between these two elements. It highlighted the importance of the gutta percha to diagnose the source of infection and may be used without major risks.
