Validade e consistência interma do questionário de investigação de prevalência de violência escolar: versão estudantes / Validity and internal consistency of the school violence prevalence investigation questionnaire: student version

RESUMO

São poucos os instrumentos brasileiros de avaliação de violência escolar que tiveram suas propriedades psicométricas aferidas. Esta pesquisa consistiu em dois estudos 1) elaboração e validação do Questionário de Investigação de Prevalência de Violência Escolar - Versão Estudantes e 2) avaliação da fidedignidade dos itens do instrumento cujas respostas estavam em escala Likert. No estudo 1, participaram 38 alunos de uma escola pública de Curitiba e três pesquisadores da área de violência. O instrumento foi compreensível ao público alvo e 76,6% dos itens obtiveram concordância de três juízes referente ao que mediam. No estudo 2, 668 estudantes de 6º. a 9º. ano de três escolas públicas responderam ao instrumento e percebeu-se que esse foi consistente em avaliar a violência psicológica, violência contra o patrimônio e global, bem como fatores de risco associados (α>0,75). Assim tal instrumento contribui para diminuir a carência de instrumentos brasileiros para investigação da violência escolar.

ABSTRACT

There are few Brazilian instruments that assess school violence which had their psychometric properties evaluated . This research consisted of two studies 1) development and validity evaluation of The School Violence Prevalence Investigation Questionnaire - Student Version, and 2) reliability assessment of the items with answers in a Likert scale. In study 1, 38 students of a public school in Curitiba and three researchers in the area of the violence took part. The instrument was clearly understood by the partcipants and 76,6% of the items reached agreement by researchers. In sutdy 2, 668 6-9 grade students of theree schools answered the Questionnaire. It was noted that the instrument was consistent in assessing psychological violence, material violence and global violence, as well as the risk factors associated (α>0,75). In conclusion, this instrument was relevant in terms of reducing the lack of Brazilian instruments pertaining to school violence investigation.
