RESUMO
Este trabalho destina-se a analisar algumas peculiaridades da avaliação pré-operatória nos pacientes idosos levando em consideração as alterações fisiológicas, a avaliação de risco cirúrgico e a necessidade de exames complementares nesta faixa etária.
