RESUMO
O objetivo do presente trabalho é a apresentação dos diferentes tipos de tratamentos integrais em uma criança com paralisia cerebral grave e retraso psicomotor severo de sexo masculino, de quatro anos de idade. Ingressa ao consultório aos 20 meses de idade com diagnóstico de paralisia cerebral, quadriplegia espástica, retraso psicomotor grave, epilepsia, agenesia do corpo caloso e luxação bilateral de quadris. Ingressa a programa de tratamento integral com os seguintes objetivos gerais prevenção de posturas viciosas, estimulação sensório-motriz e de praxias oro-faciais, confecção de adaptações em sua casa e treinamento a sua família para o manejo básico da criança
ABSTRACT

Objective:

To Evaluate the effectivenessof different techniques of rigidadhesive bandages in improvement ofproprioceptive sensibility of the foot andankle.

Methods:

A systematic searchwas performed in the electronic databasesBioMed Central Gateway, Bireme,CINAHL, Cochrane library, LILACS,MEDLINE, PEDro, SCIELO. We reviewedonly randomized clinical trials.

Results:

Three studies were reviewed.The Gibney basket weave technique iseffective in improving the sensory-motorsystem, but the Mulligan techniqueand the association of three techniques(ankle stirrups, ankle lock and figure of6) didn’t show to be effective.

Conclusion:

There is no evidence about the bestBAR in the improvement of proprioception.Key.
