Respeito às crianças na educação infantil: visão de pais e educadores / Respect to children in pre-school: parents and teachers´ viewpoints

RESUMO

O ECA se fundamenta na Doutrina de Proteção Integral - liberdade, dignidade e respeito à criança. Na desigualdade social é difícil a efetivação de direitos universais e sua aplicação. Este artigo é parte de um estudo sobre a compreensão que pais e educadores têm sobre a garantia e a violação dos direitos a proteção à criança, ênfase no direito ao RESPEITO. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola pública de educação infantil, com sessões de discussão envolvendo pais e educadores. Foram utilizados roteiro para caracterizar participantes, protocolos para o conceito - respeito e garantia e violação deste direito em casa, na escola e na comunidade. Resultados apontaram a garantia ao respeito em casa expressa por atitudes que permitem à criança expor sua opinião e a violação foi bastante associada ao atendimento à criança nos serviços públicos. Violação na escola indica o descaso de educadores com as crianças e contradição entre discurso e prática.

ABSTRACT

THE ECA is based on the Doctrine of Integral Protection - freedom, dignity and respect for the child. Social inequality makes it difficult to realize universal rights and their implementation. This article is part of a study on the understanding that parents and educators have about the guarantee and the violation of right to child protection, with the emphasis on the right to RESPECT. The research was performed in a public school child education, with discussions involving parents and educators. It was used a roadmap to characterize participants,protocols to the concept - respect and guarantee and violation of this right at home, school and in the community. Results pointed that the guarantee of the respect in house is expressed by attitudes that allow the child expose his/her opinion. The violation was associated to many situations within child care in public services. Violation in school is understood as the disregard of children by educators as well as the contradiction between discourse and practice.
