Esta pesquisa teve o objetivo de realizar uma correlação clínica, radiográfica e histológica dos terceiros molares inferiores com a presença ou surgimento de patologias associadas a estes dentes. Constituiu-se em um estudo de coorte histórico com média de acompanhamento de 6,77 anos, onde foram selecionados 26 pacientes na faixa etária de 9 e 26 anos no inicio do coorte e 14 e 32 no final, de ambos os sexos, totalizando 49 terceiros molares inferiores. Foram feitas medições eletrônicas com o software RadioImp® das radiografias panorâmicas do inicio e final do coorte, bem como uma avaliação clínica e histopatológica dos dentes e tecidos ciscunjacentes ao final do estudo...
ABSTRACT
This research aim to carry through a clinical, radiograph and histologic correlation of the mandibular third molar with the presence or sprouting of pathologies associates to these teeth. These consisted in a historical cohort study with average of fllow-up of 6,77 years, where 26 patients in the age range 9 and 26 years at the beginning of cohort and 14 and 32 in the end had been selected, of both sex, totalizing 49 mandibular third molar. For accomplishment of the study electronic measurements with RadioImp® software of the x-rays panoramic of the beginning and end of cohort had been made, as well as a clinical and histhopatologic evaluation of teeth only in the end of the study...
