ABSTRACT
Tuberculosis is an infection contagious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and has been described as the main responsible by adult death, by the only one microorganism, in the World. The aim of this article is a review of methodology to identify the Mycobacterium tuberculosis and to analyze the resistance for isoniazid and rifampicin by biological and molecularmethods, which have been used more frequently due to high sensibility and specificity, in spite of their high price.
