A Saúde Pública nos anais do Congresso Brasileiro de Atividade Física e Saúde (1997-2009): revisão sistemática / The Public Health in the Brazilian Congress on Physical Activity and Health Annals (1997-2009): a systematic review

RESUMO

Desde 1997, a cada dois anos é realizado o Congresso Brasileiro de Atividade Física e Saúde (CBAFS), que é um dos mais representativos eventos da área de Educação Física no Brasil. Considerando o importante processo de consolidação que a Educação Física vem passando, este trabalho teve como objetivo verificar a evolução dos trabalhos publicados nos anais do CBAFS (da 1ª a 7ª edição), que apresentam vínculo direto com a saúde pública, ou seja, que tivessem relação com o poder público (nacional, estadual e/ou municipal). Os resumos publicados que apresentaram alguma das palavras-chave pré- definidas foram lidos por pares. Foram selecionados aqueles em que o vínculo com o setor público ficou evidente. Foram selecionados 61 resumos (2,5% do total de trabalhos publicados na histó-ria do evento). A maior parte dos trabalhos revisados (42; 68,9%) foi publicado na 7ª edição do evento (2009), o que pode ser explicado parcialmente pela criação do Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família, em 2008, que aumentou de maneira importante a possibilidade de intervenção do profissional de Educação Física neste contexto. Espera-se que nas próximas edições do CBAFS, o crescimento de trabalhos relacionados à Saúde Pública se consolide, e que estes sejam coerentes aos princípios do SUS (universal no atendimento, integral nas ações, democrático nas decisões e equânime).

ABSTRACT

Since 1997 every two years the Brazilian Congress on Physical Activity and Health (BCPAH) is held, it is one of the most typical events in the area of Physical Education in Brazil. Considering the important process of consolidation that physical education has been going, this study aimed to describe from a systematic review of the Annals of BCPAH from the first (1997) to the seventh edition (2009) the relation of these papers published with the area of Public Health. The abstracts published that showed some of the pre-defined keywords were read by two persons. It was selected those in which the link with the public sector (municipal, state or federal) was easily seen. It was selected 62 abstracts (2.5% of all papers published in the history of the event). Most of the studies reviewed (42, 68.9%) was published in the Seventh edition of the event (2009) which can be explained to some extent to the creation of the Support Center for Family Health in 2008, which increased in an important way the possibility of intervention by the professional of physical education in this context. It is hoped that in future editions of BCPAH, the growth in work related to Public Health is consolidated and that they are consistent with the principles of SUS (universal in service, complete in the actions, democratic in the decisions and equitable).
