ABSTRACT
Is true that the execution of a diagnostic procedure which was not provided sufficient information and necessary the patient and causing iatrogenic, with the resulting lawsuit was what justified the development of informed consent, 2 for that reason and calibrating its unquestionable importance, I propose to consider carefully in what circumstances and mechanisms inherent in the specialty of pathology is usually required such authorization. Given that informed consent is a dialogue between moral agents, it is obvious that when the patient has lost the powers provided for with your doctor for assistance (exceptions noted in the article of yore), its legal representation belongs to the family and is when there is a real dilemma, described by the Dr.C. Hodelín in his letter Which family go? What seems to be the best? What handles best interest of the patient?...
