ABSTRACT
The purpose of this project was to verify, through a qualitative field research, if the children who interact in a school environment which aims at cooperation, maintain cooperative relationships in other ambiences where they act, as we believe happens. This research was developed in order to find out if the children who are constantly reminded of the importance of cooperation in the classroom environment appeal to this kind of action in the moment they face hypothetical conflict situations out of the classroom. Considering that in constructivist schools conflict situations are understood as opportunities for learning, we chose one of these situations to develop this work. Through four dilemmas containing hypothetical conflict situations, which refer to family and school contexts, with or without the presence of an authority, we collected data referent to 15 students from the sixth to the eighth grade, which were treated into categories and, after that, tabulated.
