Futebol e lazer: diálogos e aproximações / Soccer and leisure: dialogue and approaches

RESUMO

O objetivo desse artigo é realizar um diálogo entre o lazer e o futebol. Para compreender essas relações, o futebol é tratado na introdução como fenômeno sociocultural que desempenha um importante papel na formação da identidade brasileira. Na primeira seção apresentam-se algumas concepções e conceitos do lazer, discutindo o futebol como uma possibilidade de manifestação do lazer. Na segunda seção busca-se estabelecer uma relação entre o futebol e as três variáveis presentes na maioria dos estudos brasileiros nesta área o tempo, a atitude e as manifestações culturais. Na última seção do artigo, busca-se estabelecer aproximações entre o futebol e o lazer, inferindose que ambos constituem-se em uma esfera humana, a qual é construída culturalmente.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to perform a dialogue between leisure and football. To understand these relationships, football is treated in the introduction as socio-cultural phenomenon that plays an important role in the formation of Brazilian identity. In the first section we present some ideas and concepts of leisure, discussing the possibility of football as a manifestation of leisure. The second section seeks to establish a relationship between football and the three variables present in most Brazilian studies in this area time, attitude and cultural manifestations. In the last section of the article seeks to establish similarities between football and leisure, implying that both are in a human sphere, which is culturally constructed.
